Workshops

The workshops are designed for Anaesthetists, Intensive Care, Emergency Department Physicians and Surgeons who wish to learn how to use Point of Care (POC) transthoracic and ultrasound guidance techniques.

There are two workshops available:

  • H.A.R.Tscan® Haemodynamic Echocardiography Assessment in Real Time.
  • Ultrasound Guided Nerve Block and Vascular Access

H.A.R.Tscan® Haemodynamic Echocardiography Assessment in Real Time.

The H.A.R.Tscan® workshop teaches specialists a limited transthoracic echocardiography study which is qualitative, rather than quantitative, in order to better understand basic haemodynamic state basic valve interrogation.

Maximum intake is 30 participants per workshop.

The core learning areas are:

  • Basic transthoracic imaging
  • Haemodynamic state assessment including the measurement of cardiac output
