Entirely Distance Education
Education is conducted using distance education teaching methods including interactive tutorials, workbooks, texts and prescribed journal articles.  The course is designed to start with basic knowledge building blocks and evolve to interpretation, reporting and application of echocardiography in the perioperative and critical care environments. Assessment is in an open book Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) examination and workbook, for each subject and is conducted via distance. Full time (1 year) or part time (2 years). There are 8 subjects, with up to 10 tutorials per subject. Each subject consists of multimedia Word documents of at least 4,000 words written by 70 contributors. To find out more, see the Promotional Video [Windows Media] [QuickTime]

Accreditation
these courses accredited in Australia and New Zealand by the College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) in the highest pedigree for supervised training in echocardiography.

CME: Europe and USA up to 9 CME points per subject; Australia total of 50 points.
