Ventricles - Post Procedure

The screen is essentially the same as the Standard Study ventricles screen, but in the bottom right-hand corner, the button relating to transfer of Pre-Study ventricular data to this current screen is enabled. What this means, it is that the date from the Standard Study (Pre-Study) is replicated. Even if there have been changes detected, it is usually simplest to begin by transferring all of the previous data to the current study, and then simply editing it has required.

Alternatively, if the ventricular function is good, it may be easiest to press the Normal button to insert normal values for all ventricular fields and then simply edit those which are abnormal.

Please note: frequently there are changes to diastolic and less commonly to systolic ventricular function as well as other parameters for ventricular size and injection fraction following an intervention, stressed procedure or surgery. These changes can be very important in terms of the specifics of identifying ventricular dysfunction.
