Installing and Unistalling the Program
Open
the CD and open the folder labeled Distribution. Open the folder Melbourne University Echo Database.
Open the file Echo Database.exe. Now
follow the installation instructions. It is strongly recommended to install into the
default directory (C:\Echo Database).
In
the case of installing an Update
Patch, install setup file in the same way as above, but what will be
installed the supporting files without altering your data files. Consequently he will still retain the
patients that you have already entered into your
program.
Download
from HeartWeb.com.au website or a check for update:
Go
to the Update webpage and
download the full installation file, or alternatively check the version of the
software that you are using and see if a new update patch is
required.
To
start using the program, open the echocardiography database from the programs
menu. To Uninstall the program, click the Uninstall icon. To make a shortcut to
the desktop, right click the Echo Database.exe program in Windows Explorer and
drag it to the desktop and select the option to make a
shortcut.
To use this program on a network, install the
program on the server and from the workstation map the directory \\<server
name>\<drive name>\echo database. Then make a shortcut to the
executable file echo database.exe. Security and permissions are then adjusted
using the Windows software.
The program will
load to the first screen.
