Echo Database Online Tutorial
Add a Patient

This Tutorial is available by clicking the Tutorial button or Alt + t.

 

Click on Patient Details and the screen appears

   Add New Patient

 

Now to Add a new patient  click on Add New Patient

 

Enter the ID in both boxes and the first and last names and then click on OK or Alt + o. Also, a patient can be deleted from within this screen.

 

Alternatively, access this screen from the Menu or keyboard Alt + F + a.

 File menu

 

 To add a new patient, click the Add New Patient button or Alt + n, and the New UR screen will appear to enter the UR twice.  The database requires four mandatory fields to be completed for each new patient which includes UR (ID) number, first name, last name and sex.

 

It is strongly recommended that all of the additional fields including date of birth, and full address and contact details are also entered that this time so that the reports will print all of the patients relevant details.
