Research Interests: (Summary)
James’ clinical interests include anaesthesia for cardiovascular and trauma surgery, ultrasound-guided regional anaesthesia, transthoracic echocardiography and TOE for noncardiac surgery. He was recently a clinical fellow in echocardiography and cardiac anaesthesia at Westmead Hospital, Sydney and has the American NBE qualification in perioperative transoesophageal echocardiography.
